REMINDER: Rental bikes are prohibited from being used in any form of competition.


 
 
  • We follow a strict 48 hour cancellation/ alteration policy. You will only receive a refund if canceled or altered 48 hours PRIOR to reservation, THE 48 HOUR WINDOW FOR CANCELATIONS/ ALTERATIONS CLOSES AT 9AM TWO DAYS BEFORE YOUR RESERVATION. Early drop off of your rental will not result in a refund. Cancellation because of weather conditions will not be refunded. No call/ no show will not be refunded. If you need to change your reservation date, please give us a call at 802-626-3215 and we would be happy to help change your reservation given that the bike model and size is available for the new reservation dates.

  • You must be 18 or older to be able to make a reservation with us, along with picking up your rental bike. If under 18, please have a parent or guardian present when picking up your rental.

  • No, You are not allowed to install your own pedals, seat, and storage bags of any kind. Changing parts, adjusting the cockpit, or manipulating the seat aside from post height is also not permitted and we will not do it for you. We ask that you please ride the bike as is.

  • Unfortunately due to the wear these packs cause on paint and more, we DO NOT allow them with zero exceptions. Please use back or hip packs as an alternative.

  • Absolutely not. Rental bikes are strictly prohibited from any form, style, type, of race/ competition in anyway.

  • Pick Up time is during store hours of 9am to 5:30pm everyday. Pickup night before or day of before store opening is not permitted. Rentals are for the duration of Open shop hours (9-5:00pm) unless you have a multi day rental. Picking your rental up mid day/ afternoon does not extend your reservation into the next day, you will need to return the bike at the agreed conclusion of reservation.

  • You can reserve through this website with our rental system below. During busy times we will direct you to complete your reservation online and not over the phone. Reservations will not be held without completion of payment.

    1. Choose the dates you wish to reserve.

    2. Choose the bike you desire.

    3. Choose the Size that your height falls within.

    4. Pick one of pedal options (“flats” most common no specail shoe required).

    5. Select add to cart (the option to add multiple bikes will be available after this step).

    6. Input your rider weight and information requested (Your person with gear on as you’re about to ride). Please do not mistake this for height.

    7. Complete payment and double check email confirmation. If you do not receive an email check your spam folder.

  • We do not offer any safety equipment rentals including helmets. Helmets are needed to rent from us, along with using the KT network system.

  • Full Insurance is included in your rental for on trail Purposes ONLY. Insurance is not included during travel to and from each location, damage to the bike during off trail or if the bike is stolen. Trail passes for KT’s network is not included in your rental but can be purchased across the street at KT’s Welcome center or online.

  • Trail Pass from Kingdom Trails (Available at the welcome center across the street), Helmet, and any other safety equipment you feel is needed, means of hydration including proper water bottles or packs for tools/spares (Hydroflasks and Nalgenes will not fit in bottle cages, handlebar/ seat packs are not permitted), and proper attire (Ex: tshirt, athletic shorts/pants, sneakers)

  • Yes, we are a Kingdom Trails parking location where you can park to ride. Please remember our parking lot is a multi use for staff, KT riders and shoppers. Overnight parking and camping IS NOT ALLOWED

  • Please keep in mind that bike pickup is during our store hours of 9-5:00, please communicate and/or work with the camp instructors on being able to figure out how to make this work out with their schedule and ours.

  • You can rent up to a maximum of 4 days total. This way we can can keep bikes operating properly and other customers a chance to rent.

  • We do not offer half day rental rates, only full day rentals.

  • We are under new ownership! While we still go by East Burke Sports we are now Sport Thoma’s East Burke Location!

  • You are in charge of being able to transport yourself and bikes. Damage to bikes during transportation are not included in the insurance that comes with your rental. Racks that have the bike hanging off of the two posts through the main frame are not allowed, due to paint and potential frame damage.

  • We do not offer group rates or discounts on our rentals.

  • Late fees will be charged if you do not drop your bike off during business hours the day of the ending time of your reservation. For example, if the conclusion of your rental is on 5/28 then you will be charged a late fee if the bike and/or bikes are returned beyond 5:30 PM of 5/28. Dropping the bike off the following morning is NOT allowed. The program we use is live 24/7 and does not account for renters being late.

  • Yes, The village trails are located right behind our shop directly across the bridge. Along with the village trails there is also the Trail Uptown, located right down the street that you can climb up, to lead you to the trails on Darling Hill.

  • We do not offer any of these but here are some links where you can find out more information or schedule a tour or lesson with them!

  • You can use trail maps from Kingdom Trails, phone apps preferably Ondego and/or Trail forks or gps of your choice.

  • We do not have access for you to fill up any hydration packs or bottles but we do carry hydration needs from NUUN, Scratch, Cliff, etc.

  • The only difference between them typically is the seat, grips, color options, and shock tune. geometry is the exact same for both. Juliana is just Santa Cruz’s Women’s line.

  • Yes, check back in towards the end of the season to see what updates and where we are with that process.
